Cape Cod Rail Trail
Formerly used for freight rail cars, the track was transformed into a bike trail. Biking or walking through forests, fields, marshes and cranberry bogs all the way to Wellfleet should not be missed when in Dennis Port. Jericho Historical Center
Located in old town of West Dennis, Jericho Historical Center features historical buildings that served as home to the early inhabitants of the town. Captain Theophilus Baker’s house, built in 1801 and occupied by the Baker family in 1855, exhibits original furnishings, textiles, paintings and keepsakes, while Barn Museum offers insight into typical 19th century farm ambiance. Don't miss the cranberry exhibit, which displays the the 200-year-old story of this industry and the important role it played for Dennis since 1816.

1736 Josiah Dennis Manse Museum
Built in 1736, Josiah Dennis Manse is actually one of the oldest buildings in Massachusetts: it was the home of first minister Joisiah Dennis, the man whom the town was named after. Now it has been turned into a museum displaying artifacts of his early life, children’s room, spinning and weaving exhibit. The complex also includes the old 1745 school house on its grounds.

West Dennis Light
Previously known as Bass River Lighthouse, the tower was built in 1853 atop a large keeper's house and represents one of the first examples of "Cape Cod style" lighthouses. Whit its range of 12 miles and a white light flash every 6 seconds, it has been operating constantly for almost half a century since it was constructed. Now is the venue of a seasonal hotel called At the Lighthouse Inn.

Behind town Office, A coastal area of 25 acres of woodland and marshes hides a unique environment: every year during the winter months, the shores of Bass River are the typical destination of Nobscusset Indians, a native american community who continues to reside in this natural pearl since 1778.
